Everything you need to know about how tra8me maps your cognitive patterns, what the archetypes mean, and how AI shapes your results.
Welcome to tra8me! Think of this as a quick guide to understanding how we map your unique cognitive patterns. No jargon, just the basics of how it all works.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| The Weave | Our version of a quiz. A series of rapid questions that test your gut reactions, rather than what you think you should answer. |
| Signals | Your answers send "signals" or points toward specific cognitive traits. |
| Axes | Four main categories we measure. Each axis has two opposite ends (poles). |
| Archetypes | The final outcome. One of 16 profiles that best matches your overall signal pattern. |
Every choice you make leans toward one side of our four measurement axes. We look at the total balance to find your unique footprint.
Action
Doer vs. Observer
Do you jump right in or watch and wait?
Order
Rules vs. Freedom
Do you like strict plans or going with the flow?
Focus
Big Picture vs. Details
Do you see the forest or the trees?
Logic
Feelings vs. Facts
Do you decide with your heart or your head?
You have an eight second window for each question. This pressure stops you from overthinking. If you miss the timer, it is completely fine! You will just get a new question that measures the same thing. No penalty.
| Type | Length | Accuracy |

| Full Weave | 36 Questions | Highly accurate with deep insights |
| Speed Weave | 16 Questions | A quick sketch and directional read |
Your mood and energy level matter. We actually recommend taking the Weave on different days to see how your cognitive footprint shifts when you are stressed versus when you are relaxed.
In tra8me, a "signal" is any data point generated by one of your responses. Every time you select an answer during the Weave, that selection sends a signal across the four measurement axes. Signals are what the scoring engine uses to map your cognitive profile.
You can think of signals as votes. Each answer votes toward one pole on each axis it touches. Some questions are designed to test your Action axis. Others focus on Order, Focus, or Logic. Many questions test multiple axes at once, which means a single answer can cast votes in several directions simultaneously.
There are eight signal poles, grouped into four opposing pairs. Together, they form the coordinate system that defines every archetype.
Doers
You lean into action. You process the world by doing. Waiting feels counterproductive.
Observers
You lean into observation. You process the world by absorbing. Acting prematurely feels careless.
Rules
You prefer structure. Plans, frameworks, and clear boundaries make you more effective.
Freedom
You prefer openness. Undefined problems and fluid situations bring out your best thinking.
Big Picture
You think in big picture. Patterns, systems, and macro trends hold your attention.
Details
You think in detail. Precision, accuracy, and the specifics matter more than the overview.
Feelings
You process through feeling and empathy. Emotional data is real data to you.
Facts
You process through logic and analysis. Decisions should be based on evidence, not emotion.
After all your signals are collected, the system tallies your lean on each axis. If you answered 70% Doers and 30% Observers on the Action axis, your Action signal is strongly Doers. The same calculation happens for Order, Focus, and Logic.
Your four dominant poles combine to form your archetype alignment. For example, someone who leans Doers, Rules, Big Picture, and Facts maps to The Zenith. Someone who leans Observers, Freedom, Details, and Feelings maps to The Deep Reader.
But the scoring does not simply pick a winner. It calculates your proximity to all 16 archetypes using a non-linear formula that rewards dominance. This means even small shifts in your signal balance can change your secondary and tertiary matches, which is why retaking the Weave often reveals subtly different perspectives on the same person.
Every person who completes a Weave is mapped to a primary archetype. But the word "primary" deserves emphasis. No one is purely one archetype. Your results will always show how strongly you align with each of the 16, expressed as a percentage. Your primary archetype is the one that scored highest, but it does not define you in isolation.
Think of your archetype as the loudest note in a chord. The other notes are still there. They still shape the sound. Some people have one dominant archetype and everything else falls away quickly. Others have two or three archetypes clustered closely at the top, which means their cognitive profile blends multiple styles almost equally. Both patterns are valid. Both are revealing.
Each archetype is defined by a unique combination of the four axes. There are 16 possible combinations, and each one produces a distinct cognitive signature. Below is a full reference. Expand any archetype to explore what it means, how it thinks, feels, acts, connects, and where it does its best work.
While your primary archetype tells you where your center of gravity sits, the most interesting insights often come from where two opposing archetypes overlap. These cross patterns are surprisingly common, and they reveal something important: that human cognition is not neatly categorical. It is layered, contextual, and full of productive contradictions.
These archetypes sit on opposite poles. The Catalyst acts on intuition and drives change. The Strategist is patient and relies on structured foresight. When someone scores highly on both, it usually means they can seamlessly shift between instinctual and deliberate decision-making depending on context. This blend is common in experienced leaders who have trained themselves to act decisively without losing sight of the long term.
The Mediator naturally translates between people and groups. The Investigator uncovers the deeper insights beneath what people are communicating. Together, this blend creates someone who not only understands the underlying dynamics, but can also articulate them in a way that others actually hear and act on. These individuals tend to become indispensable facilitators in complex organizations.
Execution without empathy can lead to burnout. Empathy without execution leads to stagnation. When these two archetypes overlap, you find someone who can navigate interpersonal complexity while executing at a high practical standard. This is the blend that builds high-performing teams people actually want to stay a part of.
Speed and patience. The Experimenter iterates rapidly and tests every possibility. The Forecaster thinks in long timelines and senses human trends. This blend is rare, but when it shows up, it produces people who can sense where an industry or culture is heading and then rapidly test solutions to get there before anyone else.
The Weave is the foundation. The scoring engine maps your signals to archetypes. But the layer that makes tra8me unlike anything else is the AI that interprets what those signals actually mean for you.
After the scoring engine produces your archetype alignment and signal map, tra8me AI reads the full picture: not just which archetype you landed on, but how you got there. It looks at the individual questions you answered, how your responses clustered, where you were consistent, and where you contradicted yourself. Contradictions are not errors. They are some of the most revealing data points in the entire system.
From this analysis, tra8me AI generates a narrative that is genuinely personal. Not a template. Not a mad-lib with your name dropped in. Your report is written for the specific pattern of responses you gave, in the specific order you gave them, with the specific tensions and strengths that pattern reveals.
Most personality assessments give you a label and a paragraph that thousands of other people received word for word. tra8me does not work that way. Your results are generated once, for you, based on a pattern that may never be repeated exactly the same way by anyone else. The combination of your timing, your selections, and the contextual weight of each answer creates a fingerprint. The AI reads that fingerprint.
This is not a chatbot responding to a prompt. This is a purpose-built cognitive analysis pipeline that takes structured signal data and produces insight with a level of specificity that traditional personality tools simply cannot match. Every report is written fresh. Every narrative is original.
tra8me is building toward a future where your cognitive profile does not just tell you about yourself. It connects you to the world in meaningful ways.
Advanced reporting is in development that will take your archetype profile and generate deeply personal recommendations. Books that align with how you actually think. Video games that match your cognitive wiring. Movies and shows that resonate with the way you process narrative and emotion. Even hobby and creative outlet suggestions tailored to where your mind does its best work.
These are not generic "you might also like" lists. They are recommendations informed by the specific way your signals clustered: what drives you, what calms you, what challenges you in the way you actually want to be challenged. The goal is to build a living companion that grows with you, not a static report you read once and forget.
